Maggie Ann Bunce, of Denver, CO and Palatine, IL, 29 years old, passed tragically on November 14, 2021. Treasured daughter of Maureen and John Bunce, invaluable sister to her damn proud brothers Sean, Kevin and Brendan, and loving partner of Willy Pelland. Survived by grandparents Bill and Bridie Noonan, predeceased by Ed and Maureen Bunce. Maggie will be missed but never forgotten by her aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless many friends. Maggie was a beacon of sunshine wherever she went and brightened every room she entered. She never met a person she didn’t like or a dog she didn’t love – and she received the same affection in return. Her smile was infectious, her giggle mischievous, and her laugh untamed. There was magic in her feet, sparkle in her eyes, and spending time with her always felt like a dance. Maggie’s positivity and energy was inspirational. She loved the air in the mountains, the sun on her face, and the snow on her hair. She was a beautiful girl with a pure, joyful nature, and a dynamic magnetism that drew her friends together. Maggie’s spirit will forever remain with all of us and she would tell us to spread her kindness and enthusiasm for life in her memory. Visitation Tuesday, November 23rd, 3:00 – 8:00 pm and Wednesday, Nov. 24th, 8:00 am until time of funeral, 11:00 am at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E. Irving Park Road (at Prospect), Itasca to Saint James the Apostle Church. Mass 12:00 pm. Interment All Saints Cemetery. For funeral information: 630-250-8588 or www.oaksfh.com

I am the mother of Ashley Dalmy – who loved Maggie. My heart is broken. It is broken for you Maureen, as a mother, and you John as a father. I cannot begin to imagine the pain. My heart is broken for Maggie’s damn proud brothers and the rest of her family. My heart is very broken for Will, who I don’t know but have heard amazing things about him. I pray for God to give Will the strength he needs to get through the loss of the woman he loved. And I pray for all of you to find peace at some point in time in the memories you have of a beautiful Maggie.
