Both George and Carolyn reminded me of my parents and they were so kind and nice. Animal lovers too. So sorry for Patty and the family.

Just found out. George was a constant client of mine a few years back when I operated a PC repair shop on north Milwaukee Ave near Gale Street. I have since moved, but always thought about George because he stopped coming in. I remember George bringing in some big heavy PC’s, and I would always help him unload, and load up again when he came back to pickup his stuff. He always had a story to tell, and was such a cheerful person. I lost my Grand Father as a little boy, and deep inside my deep mind, I thought of George as someone who must have been a great Grand Father himself- looks like I was right. I was just getting ready to start our yearly Xmas mailer, and I came across George’s name and address label again. This time, I paused, wondered again, and thought I should give him a call to see how he’s doing. Well, before doing that, I had a sad inclination that perhaps George was no longer with us, as that would be the only logical explanation for why George had stopped coming in or calling. I checked online, and sadly, came across his Obituary. My deepest condolences to the entire Hitzman family. George will be missed. God Bless!
